Ibón de Bachimaña Alto, the larger, lies at an elevation of {{convert|2207|m|ft}} above sea level.[1] It covers an area of {{convert|38|ha|sqmi}}. Ibón de Bachimaña Bajo lies at {{convert|2190|m|ft}} above sea level and has a surface area of {{convert|3.2|ha|sqmi}}. It is currently separated from the larger Ibón de Bachimaña Alto by a dam and is used as a reservoir.
