}}Idaea furciferata, the notch-winged wave moth, is a moth in the family Geometridae. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Maryland to northern Florida, west to Missouri and Texas.[2] The wingspan is about 17 mm for males and 15 mm for females. Adults are mostly on wing from April to August.[3] The hindwings have a deep notch in males, which is absent in females. The forewings are tan in both sexes, with dull reddish brown lines and shading. The larvae feed on Trifolium and Taraxacum species.[4] References1. ^{{cite web |last=Yu |first=Dicky Sick Ki |date=1997–2012 |url=http://www.taxapad.com/local.php?taxonidLC=82844681 |title=Idaea furciferata (Packard 1873) |website=Home of Ichneumonoidea |publisher=Taxapad |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160326004047/http://www.taxapad.com/local.php?taxonidLC=82844681 |archive-date=March 26, 2016 |accessdate=January 21, 2015}} {{Commons}}{{Wikispecies}}{{Taxonbar|from=Q18922739}}{{Sterrhinae-stub}}2. ^mothphotographersgroup 3. ^Bug Guide 4. ^Butterflies and Moths of North America 3 : Moths described in 1873|Sterrhini|Moths of North America |
