G. Ramachandran in the lead role, with Pandari Bai, R. S. Manohar and Radha Saluja among others enacting supporting roles. The film was directed by A. Jagannathan, produced by R. M. Veerappan under his banner Sathiya Movies and had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. The film was the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year, running for 150 days in theatres. It was the only Indian film to be screened at the Tashkent International Film Festival in 1978.[2] Cast
SoundtrackThe music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.[2][3] The songs "Inbame Undhan Per", "Neenga Nalla Irukkanum" became chartbusters. Ramachandran's, Padagotti, 1964) and later worked under P. Neelakantan (from 1967, with M. G. Ramachandran's, Kaavalkaaran). For 12 films, most of them starring M. G. Ramachandran.[8] It was M. G.
