释义 |
Imprint (Italian Impronta) was an Arte Povera glass sculpture created by Luciano Fabro in 1964.[1] It was an opaque 74.5 cm diameter, 8mm thick glass disc with an image of the Earth at the centre.[2] Fabro claimed the sculpture represented "the longevity of the world." On September 7, 2013, the piece was accidentally knocked over and smashed by a journalist from Radiotelevisione svizzera, while it was on display at the Meno Uno gallery in Lugano, Switzerland. The journalist was reported to have been intoxicated.[1] References1. ^1 {{cite news|last=Day|first=Michael|title=Inebriate journalist dubbed 'Swiss Mr Bean' reaches for canapé and smashes priceless artwork|url=https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/art/news/inebriate-journalist-dubbed-swiss-mr-bean-reaches-for-canap-and-smashes-priceless-artwork-8805308.html|accessdate=9 September 2013|date=9 September 2013}} {{sculpture-stub}}{{italy-art-stub}}2. ^{{cite news|title=Swiss journo smashes priceless glass artwork|url=http://www.thelocal.ch/20130909/journalist-smashes-priceless-artwork-in-lugano|accessdate=9 September 2013|newspaper=The Local|date=9 September 2013}} 1 : Sculptures in Italy |
