The Institut Européen d’archéologie Sous-Marine (IEASM)[1](English: European Institute for Underwater Archaeology) was founded in 1987 as a French non-profit organisation by President Franck Goddio. The organisation locates, explores, excavates and restores sunken sites. IEASM calls upon scientists and specialists[2] of different scientific field to support its research missions, study and publish[3] the findings. The organisation features exhibitions allowing the general public to get access to its discoveries.
