}} Ithome lassula is a moth in the family Cosmopterigidae. It was described by Ronald W. Hodges in 1962. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Florida.[1][2] It was introduced into Australia by accident, where it is now found in Queensland. The wingspan is 6–8 mm. The forewings and body are shiny black. Adults have been recorded on wing from March to April. The larvae feed on the flowers and buds of Leucaena glauca and Leucaena leucocephala. They have a yellowish-green body and a brown head.[3] References1. ^{{cite web |last=Savela |first=Markku |url=http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/sci/bio/life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/gelechioidea/cosmopterigidae/chrysopeleiinae/ithome/#lassula |title=Ithome lassula Hodges, 1962 |website=Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms |accessdate=January 17, 2019}} 2. ^{{cite web |url=http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=1643 |title=420349.00 – 1643 – Ithome lassula – Hodges, 1962 |website=North American Moth Photographers Group |publisher=Mississippi State University |accessdate=January 17, 2019}} 3. ^{{cite web |last1=Herbison-Evans |first1=Don |last2=Crossley |first2=Stella |last-author-amp=yes |date=21 August 2012 |url=http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/cosm/lassula.html |title=Ithome lassula Hodges, 1962 |website=Australian Caterpillars and their Butterflies and Moths |accessdate=January 18, 2019}}
