Headquartered in Gurugram, the company has a user base of over 100 million travellers[1]. It aggregates and compares real-time travel information, prices & availability for flights, trains, buses, hotel availability. Recently, ixigo expanded in India with the inauguration of a new product development center in Bengaluru[2]. History & Investorsixigo (Le Travenues Technology Pvt. Ltd.) was started by Aloke Bajpai and Rajnish Kumar. The duo started the company in June 2007 with the launch of the flights product. BAF Spectrum (Singapore) participated in the seed round in 2008 [3]. In August 2011, ixigo received $18.5 M investment from SAIF Partners and MakeMyTrip in a landmark deal for online travel in India. In June 2015, smartphone maker Micromax Informatics[4] invested an undisclosed amount in ixigo.
