Jan Scott (May 8, 1915 – April 16, 2003) was an American production designer and art director.[1] She is the recipient of 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, more than any woman in the history of television and more than any other production designers. Scott was nominated for a record total of 29 times.

She was known as an innovator in the production design for the mini-series format, and also as a rare female production designer in a field dominated by men. Scott was a president of the Art Directors Guild and also served as a vice-president, second vice-president and governor of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
