Its major shareholders are TV Asahi Holdings and Tokyu Agency. It also distributes CNN channels to Japan, available on SKY PerfecTV! and other providers.

CNNj: Mix of CNN International and CNN/US
CNN/US HD: Relays HD feed of CNN/US

JCTV used to distribute Golf Channel to Japan until April 2009, when its distribution management was replaced by World Hivision Channel, the company responsible for broadcasting BS Twelve.
