He currently plays for Ethiopian Coffee. CareerJemal is a goalkeeper and part of the Ethiopia national football team. He began his career with Awassa City F.C. In 2010, he joined Dedebit F.C., and as of season 2012/13 he plays in Ethiopian Coffee.[1] In 2010, he was awarded as Ethiopian Premier League Player of the Year.[2] He signed on a two-week contract with SPL club Inverness CT as back up to Ryan Esson playing once. In August of 2018 Jamal signed with Fasil Kenama S.C.[3] International careerJemal was in the squad that played 2010 CECAFA Cup.[4][5] He debuted for Ethiopia in a match against Kenya, and played 3 games on that tournament.
