Ju (Chinese: {{lang|zh|鞠}}) was a noble of the Xia. Born Ji Ju ({{lang|zh|姬鞠}}), he is reported as having abandoned the agriculture of his father Buzhu and grandfather Houji in favor of the animal husbandry practiced by the Rong and Di barbarians.[1] His son was Duke Liu, from whom the Zhou royal family descended.
