He is the founder of Bomgar, a tech company. He serves in the Mississippi House of Representatives. Early lifeJoel Bomgaars was born on February 6, 1980.[1] He led a very sheltered life and was home schooled by his parents from kindergarten through high school.[2] He graduated from Belhaven University.[1] He served in the Mississippi Air National Guard.[1] CareerIn 2003, Joel Bomgaars founded NetworkStreaming, a subsidiary of Business Communications, Inc.[3] The company was later renamed to Bomgar and Joel Bomgaars assumed the "professional name" of Joel Bomgar, but his legal name remained Joel Bomgaars.[4] With annual revenue below $100M,[5] Bomgar is a niche player in the remote access business. In 2008 company ranked #190 on the Inc. 5000 and fell in rank every subsequent year, ranking #4628 in 2017.
