Jonathan Earle Arnold was a member of the Wisconsin Territorial Council. BiographyArnold was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on February 4, 1814.[1] He graduated from Brown University before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1836. Arnold died on June 2, 1869.[2] CareerArnold served in the Wisconsin Territorial Council from 1840 to 1841 as a member of the Whig Party. After Wisconsin was admitted to the Union, he ran for the United States House of Representatives from Wisconsin's 1st congressional district in 1860 as a Democrat. He lost to incumbent John F. Potter.[3] Additionally, he served as District Attorney of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
