LifeHe was a native of Washington, D.C., and was graduated in 1912 from the architecture school at George Washington University. For several years Younger was associated with Washington architectural firms such as Waggaman and Ray, and in 1922 engaged in practice for himself. He designed several important buildings, including the Kennedy-Warren Apartments and the Sixth Presbyterian Church, for which he received an award from the Washington Board of Trade. The Architects' Advisory Council had extended high commendation for and for that of the Blackstone Hotel.
