He is best known for his series regular role of "Detective Jared Vasquez" on the NBC hit series Manifest, a detective at the NYPD's 129th Precinct and Michaela's ex-fiancé, who is now married to her best friend. Prior, he was a series regular and beloved fan favorite as Julio on Starz series Power and Oscar Arocho on Netflix series Jessica Jones produced by Marvel. He also played Ted Grant / Wildcat in a recurring role in the third season of Arrow. Early lifeRamirez was born in Matanzas,[1] Cuba. When he was a baby, his family moved to the United States and he was raised in Tampa, Florida.[2] CareerRamirez played a recurring character on the first season of Power before being promoted to a regular cast member in the second season.[3] He followed up by having a recurring appearance as Ted Grant / Wildcat on the third season of Arrow,[4] before joining the second season of Jessica Jones as Oscar Arocho.[5][6] In February 2018, Ramirez was cast as Detective Jared Vasquez in the NBC series Manifest.[7] Filmography
