It runs in a generally north-south orientation between the junction with A. Luna Street and the intersection with N. Domingo Street and connects the barangays of Ermitaño, Balong Bato and Salapan in San Juan City. It is served by J. Ruiz station of the Manila Line 2. The street was named after one of the first 18 Katipuneros from San Juan that fought and died in the First Battle of Katipunan in Pinaglabanan which is also located in San Juan.[1] RouteJuan Ruiz Street commences at the intersection with A. Luna Street in the northwest. It heads due east then turns south, traversing some of the minor streets in the area namely J. Dela Cruz Street, Melanio De Street, A. Reyes Street, 29 de Agosto Street, and F. Antonio Street. After crossing Aurora Boulevard, Juan Ruiz intersects with S. De Guzman Street before it bends further southeast and crosses R. Lagmay Street. It then straightens up south up until it ends in the junction with N. Domingo Street. See also
