Sports careerWhen Rogers participated in the 2012 Summer Paralympics she was still a student at Bedford Modern School[4] and some 26 years junior to her fellow team member, Martine Wright. Since her participation in the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Rogers has changed her attention to athletics where she has become one of the fastest female Paralympic sprinters in the UK. In 2014, Rogers' fastest time as a sprinter was 5th in the world rankings for that year.[5] References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://metro.co.uk/2012/09/05/julie-rogers-young-talented-plenty-life-experience-already-3817924/|title=Julie Rogers: Young and talented but with plenty of life experience already|author=Matthew Nash for Metro|work=Metro|accessdate=7 January 2015}} {{authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Rogers, Julie}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.paralympics.org.uk/gb/athletes/julie-rogers#|title=Julie Rogers|work=British Paralympic Association|accessdate=7 January 2015}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.thepowerof10.info/athletes/profile.aspx?athleteid=599191|title=Athlete Profile|publisher=|accessdate=7 January 2015}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.bedfordtoday.co.uk/sport/paralympics-call-up-for-rogers-1-3993942|title=Paralympics call-up for Rogers|publisher=|accessdate=7 January 2015}} 5. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.pacerehab.com/julie-rogers-3S80-ottobock|title=Julie Rogers 3S80 Ottobock|publisher=|accessdate=7 January 2015|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20150107231344/http://www.pacerehab.com/julie-rogers-3S80-ottobock|archivedate=7 January 2015|df=}} 9 : 1998 births|Volleyball players at the 2012 Summer Paralympics|Paralympic volleyball players of Great Britain|Sportspeople from Bedford|Living people|People educated at Bedford Modern School|British sitting volleyball players|Women's sitting volleyball players|British female sprinters |
