Casanova was born in San Martín de los Andes, in the North of Patagonia. He now lives between Patagonia [1] and the Alps, skiing, climbing and guiding through its agency Patagonia Free [2] He climbed most of the mythical patagonian peaks as Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre and Torres del Paine. In 2009, he placed third at the South American Ski Mountaineering Championship.[3] External links
