Sanjawi ({{lang-ps|سنځاوۍ}}), also spelled Sanzawi or Sinjawi, is a town with a population of 94,000. It serves as the capital of Sanjawi Tehsil - an administrative subdivision of Ziarat District.[1]

Wanetsi, a unique and archaic dialect of Pashto, is spoken in the town,[2] although Standard Pashto is now getting increasingly common.

Sanjawi is located about {{convert|32|km|0|abbr=on}} from Loralai, and 192 km (120 miles) from Quetta. It is famous for its fruit production such as apples, pomegranates, peach, cherry, apricot, almonds, mulberries, santroza, figs and many other kinds of fruits. The indigenous tribes over here are DUMAR , Loni, Syed(Peechi), and Tareen. There are also many other minor tribes including Afghan refugees. It is a mountainous area, and its tallest mountain is called TOR GHAR.The spoken language over here is Pashto. The People of Sanjawi are peaceful, hospitable, and co operative. The Afghan refugees such as Nasars, Andar, Kharoti, etc. have also got settled since the late 80s.
