In July 2013, Kareo made its first acquisition of a full-service provider of medical billing and associated solutions company, ECCO Health, LLC.[5] Over the years, the company has received funding from a variety of venture capital firms including CNET founder Halsey Minor's Minor Ventures and OpenView Venture Partners.
