Bell competed in the Women's 10 m platform event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She qualified for her place after classifying 2nd in the 2012 United States Trials, behind teammate Brittany Viola.[1] After reaching ninth place in the preliminary round, she only managed to attain the 16th position in the semifinal and hence was eliminated from the event.[2] Early lifeBell was born three weeks prematurely and weighed only three pounds and four ounces. She was not expected to survive infancy.
