She married Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on 11 May 1980. She has three sons and a daughter.[1] Education & careerShe is an Intermediate and studied at Brijmanganj (Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education).She became the member of District Panchayat, Gonda during 1995-96. She was elected to the 11th Lok Sabha in 1996.
