}} Keury Mella (born August 2, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). CareerSan Francisco GiantsMella signed with the San Francisco Giants as an international free agent in 2011.[1] He made his professional debut in 2012 with the Dominican Summer League Giants. He spent 2013 with Arizona League Giants and Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and 2014 with the Augusta GreenJackets.[2][3] Cincinnati RedsOn July 30, 2015, the Giants traded Mella and Adam Duvall to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for Mike Leake.[4] The Reds added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[5] He made his MLB debut on September 20, 2017.
