She attended the Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, Mumbai and St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She then attended the Government Law College, Mumbai but dropped out to pursue a career in acting. She played the Parallel Lead Role of Sanjana Sameer Kapoor, Simar's Daughter on Colors TV Show Sasural Simar Ka. She was last seen in the role of Rangoli Rai on Tu Aashiqui on Colors TV. Acting careerBarretto started her television career by acting in episodic shows including Heroes, The Fightback Files and Yeh Hai Aashiqui on the Bindass channel. Her debut show was the popular Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan on MTV in which she portrayed the role of Alya Saxena.the desperate girlfriend of the main male lead She also appeared in two episodes of Warrior High on MTV as Alya Saxena and in an episode of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya on Zing.[1] Krissann also hosted MTV Campus Diaries. Apart from this, She is also one of the lead characters of the Hip Hip Hurray sequel announced by MTV.[2][3][4] Krissann also portrayed the role of Kiya Kapoor in &TV Show Kahani Hamari...Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki. She played the role of Romi in the Star Plus show Ishqbaaaz. She was also seen in MTVs episodic Series MTV Big F season 2 as Jhanvi opposite Ruslaan Mumtaz. She was also seen in Sasural Simar Ka as Simar’s daughter, Sanjana Sameer Kapoor. As of July 2018, she played in Tu Aashiqui as Rangoli Rai which was aired on Colors TV. Television
