Since 3 January 2012, he holds the position of Minister of Relations with the Parliament & Civil Society in Abdelilah Benkirane's cabinet.[1][2][3][4] He also serves as MP for Gheris-Tislit constituency since 2002[1] Choubani worked as a Physics schoolteacher in the province of Errachidia.
