Located on a long private road off Old Troy Road, the 1-1/2 story "cottage" was designed by Boston architect Harry Little of Little & Robb, and built in 1929 as a guest house for Mrs. William Amory as part of her extensive estate. The cottage has a strong English Arts and Crafts style, reminiscent of a Cotswold cottage, with extensive use of stone and slate.[2] See also
