Palaeographically it has been assigned to the 13th-century. The manuscript has not survived in complete condition. DescriptionThe original codex contained lessons from the Gospel of John, Matthew and Luke (Evangelistarium) with lacunae[2] on 207 parchment leaves. The leaves are measured ({{×|28.2|20.9|cm}}).{{r|Aland|INTF}} The text is written in Greek uncial letters, in two columns per page, 25 lines per page.[3][4] It is written in minuscule script.{{r|Aland|INTF}} The titles are written in gold, initial letters are written in gold and colours. It has music notes and pictures.{{r|Scrivener}} The codex contains weekday Gospel lessons.{{r|Aland|INTF}} HistoryScrivener dated the manuscript to the 12th or 13th-century, Gregory dated it to the 13th or 14th-century.{{r|Scrivener|Gregory}} It is presently assigned by the INTF to the 13th-century.{{r|Aland|INTF}} In 1872 it was bought from Sotheby for the British Museum.{{r|Gregory}} The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scrivener (59e)[5] and Gregory (number 339e).{{r|Gregory}} Gregory saw it in 1883.{{r|Gregory}} Currently the codex is housed at the British Library (Egerton 2163) in the London.{{r|Aland|INTF}} The fragment is not cited in critical editions of the Greek New Testament (UBS4,[6] NA27[7]).
