It is surrounded by Yutan Subdistrict, Chengjiao Subdistrict and Baimaqiao Subdistrict on the west, Shuangjiangkou Town on the north and Xiaduopu Town on the southeast. {{As of|2000|alt=As of the 2000}} census it had a population of 27,952 and an area of {{convert|35|km2}}.
