Luthersk Ugeskrift ("Lutheran Weekly") was an ecclesiastical periodical issued from 1877 to 1893. History and profileLuthersk Ugeskrift was established in 1877[1] by Wilhelm Bugge and Johan Christian Heuch, who both later served as bishops. The headquarters was in Kristiania (Oslo).[1] It was marked by "high church" views and purported skepticism towards lay preaching and elected congregational councils. In 1881 Michael Johan Færden[2] replaced Bugge as co-editor; Heuch withdrew in 1889. The periodical went defunct in 1893.[3]References1. ^1 {{cite web|title=Presbyterianisme på norsk?|url=http://www.frikirken.no/files/12.5-Utredninger-Presbyterianisme-pa-norsk.pdf|work=Frikirken|accessdate=29 June 2016|language=Norwegian|format=Report}} {{Norway-mag-stub}}{{Christian-mag-stub}}2. ^{{cite book|title=Western Esotericism in Scandinavia|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=rGpyDAAAQBAJ&pg=PA275|accessdate=29 June 2016|date=31 March 2016|publisher=BRILL|isbn=978-90-04-32596-8|page=275}} 3. ^{{cite encyclopedia|title=Luthersk Ugeskrift|encyclopedia=Store norske leksikon|url=http://www.snl.no/Luthersk_Ugeskrift|language=Norwegian|accessdate=1 October 2012}} 10 : 1877 establishments in Norway|1893 disestablishments in Norway|Christian magazines|Defunct magazines of Norway|Magazines disestablished in 1893|Magazines established in 1877|Norwegian magazines|Media in Oslo|Norwegian-language magazines|Norwegian weekly magazines |
