Moy House is a Georgian country house hotel in County Clare, Ireland, about {{convert|3|km}} south of Lahinch off the N67 road near the village of Moy. Originally set in 15 acres of woodland on the River Moy, it was built in the mid 18th century as the holiday home of Sir Augustine Fitzgerald.[1][2] Later it was sold to Major Studdert, who gave his name to the bridges over the road and the river in the West Clare Railway.[3] The house was vacant for 10 years, but was purchased by Antoin O'Looney who undertook a three year restoration of the property.[1] It was voted Country House of the Year by Georgina Campbell's Ireland in 2003.[4] References1. ^1 {{cite book|last=Dillard|first=Elsie|title=The Irish Bed & Breakfast Book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=ysLuHIf92jQC&pg=PA143|date=January 2008|publisher=Pelican Publishing|isbn=978-1-4556-0638-2|page=143}} 2. ^{{cite book|last=Brown|first=June|title=Karen Brown's Ireland: Exceptional Places to Stay and Itineraries|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=VuJ5Ia0Y8vkC&pg=PA170|year=2006|publisher=Karen Brown's Guides|isbn=978-1-933810-06-5|page=170}} 3. ^{{cite book |last= Lenihan|first= Eddie|origyear= 1990|year= 2008|title= In the Tracks of the West Clare Railway|url= |deadurl= |location= Cork |publisher= Mercier Press|isbn= 978 1 85635 579 7|archiveurl= |archivedate= |accessdate= }} p. 145 4. ^{{cite book|last=Campbell|first=Georgina|title=Georgina Campbell's Ireland, the Best of the Best: Ireland's Very Best Places to Eat, Drink and Stay|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=Jh8v_5gSMwIC&pg=PA71|date=October 2005|publisher=Georgina Campbell Guides|isbn=978-1-903164-21-1|page=71}} External links
