He currently serves as a senator representing Veracruz in the LXIV Legislature of the Mexican Congress. From 2009 to 2012, he was a deputy in the LXI Legislature as a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party.[1] In October 2018, the director of the Morena party in Veracruz, Manuel Huerta Ladrón de Guevara, criticized Ahued for making remarks about the water supply in Xalapa, noting that Ahued was not a member of the party despite being in its Senate caucus.[2] References1. ^{{cite web|title=Perfil del legislador|url=http://sil.gobernacion.gob.mx/Librerias/pp_PerfilLegislador.php?SID=&Referencia=9221951|publisher=Legislative Information System|accessdate=13 March 2019}} {{Authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Ahued, Ricardo}}{{Mexico-politician-Morena-stub}}2. ^{{cite news|url=https://www.diariodexalapa.com.mx/local/morena-para-en-seco-a-ricardo-ahued-2130150.html|work=Diario de Xalapa|date=15 October 2018|title=Morena para en seco a Ricardo Ahued|first=Raymundo|last=León|accessdate=13 March 2019}} 7 : 1957 births|Living people|People from Pachuca|Members of the Chamber of Deputies (Mexico)|Institutional Revolutionary Party politicians|21st-century Mexican politicians|National Regeneration Movement politicians |
