In addition to his film work, he has also published two short story collections and has experimented with painting, sculpting and acting.{{Citation needed|date=April 2018}} He has directed telefilms, advertisement films, talk shows, and short films, and now works in the Malayalam film industry. Many of his films focus on social justice, and have been screened on dates connected to their subject matter. Pampally is the proprietor of Pampally Productions, a film production company.
