释义 |
The Santa Inês is a breed of sheep from Brazil. As woolless hair sheep, the breed is primarily raised for meat,[1] and is the one of the largest and most productive hair sheep breeds common to Brazil.[2] It is thought to have derived from crosses of the Morada Nova, Bergamasca, and native coarse-wooled sheep.[3][4] Santa Inêz are well-adapted for tropical climates, such as with higher parasite resistance than other meat sheep breeds.[5] References1. ^{{citation |url=http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/sheep/santaines/ |title=Santa Inês |work=ansi.okstate.edu |publisher=Oklahoma State University }} {{DEFAULTSORT:Santa Ines (sheep)}}{{sheep-stub}}2. ^{{citation |title=Performance of three tropical hair sheep breeds. |author1=Rajab MH |author2=Cartwright TC |author3=Dahm PF |author4=Figueiredo EA. |year=1992 |journal=Journal of Animal Science |pmid=1459896 |volume=70 |pages=3351–9 |doi=10.2527/1992.70113351x}} 3. ^{{citation |url=http://www.fao.org/docrep/004/x6517e/X6517E00.htm |title=Prolific Tropical Sheep |author=IL Mason |work=FAO Animal Production and Health Paper 17 |publisher=FAO |year=1980 |isbn=92-5-100845-0 }} 4. ^{{citation |url=http://www.sheep101.info/breedsS.html |title=Sheep Breeds S - St |work=sheep101.info }} 5. ^{{citation |title=Resistance of Santa Ines, Suffolk and Ile de France sheep to naturally acquired gastrointestinal nematode infections. |journal=Veterinary Parasitology |year=2004 |pmid=15019147 |doi=10.1016/j.vetpar.2003.12.004 |volume=120 |pages=91–106}} 2 : Sheep breeds originating in Brazil|Sheep breeds |
