ORIGIN OF SIKKA'S All Sikka family will be happy to know that , The sub caste Sikka to us was given by GURU GOBIND SINGH JI at Anand pur sahib when Baba Bhagat Singh (Our ancessor) was serving as a labour and looking after the horses of the sikhs in the ANAND GARH castle (ANAND PUR SAHIB). Some one complained that Bhagat Singh and his wife are taking their meals from the Langar ( Free meals for the followers/Sikhs). Guru Gobind Singh ji called upon Bhagat Singh and asked him. Baba Bhagat Singh humbly replied " I am collecting the undigested grains from the feacal material of the horses cleaning and drying the grains, grinding it to make flour for making Chapati and the we both consume it rather than taking our meals from the Langar (free kitchen). Guru Gobind Singh ji hugged him and send him to a place near Distt Jhang Maghiana (now in Pakistan) saying that Tuhadi hundi chalegi (Means by your signatures people will honour the bearer with money) and it happened . The name of this place is NANAK SAR as GURU NANAK DEV JI visited this place while going to and coming back from Mecca and Madina.
