}}The Degrees of Knowledge ({{lang-fr|Distinguer pour unir, ou Les Degrés du Savoir}}) is a 1932 book by the philosopher Jacques Maritain, his major contribution to epistemology.^[1] It was first published in English translation in 1959.^[2]

Reception

The philosopher Adolf Grünbaum argued in Philosophical Problems of Space and Time (1963) that Maritain presents an unsound and incorrect interpretation of the nature of geometry.^[3]
