Although University Farm was the formal name for the school and team, in many newspaper articles from the time it was called "Davis Farm". The 1915 team was the first year University Farm competed in intercollegiate football. The team was an independent and was led by head coach Robert E. Harmon. They played home games in Davis, California. University Farm finished with a record of three wins and two losses (3–2) and were outscored by their opponents 51–54 for the 1915 season.
