The eight top-ranked teams based on finishing positions from the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 qualified automatically. The remaining two qualification spots will be determined through a qualifying tournament.[8]
VenuesIn January 2018, the ICC announced that 6 venues in 4 cities would host matches.[9]
