Bear Creek is a stream in Miller County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] It is a tributary of the Osage River. The stream headwaters arise on the north side of a ridge about two miles north of Brumley (at {{coord|38|07|10|N|92|29|20|W|display=inline}}[1]) at an elevation of about {{convert|840|ft|abbr=on}}.[2] The stream flows northwest to north passing the old community of Blackmer to its confluence with the Osage adjacent to Wolf Creek (at {{coord|38|11|33|N|92|30|58|W|display=inline,title}}) at an elevation of {{convert|554|ft|abbr=on}}.[1][3] Bear Creek was so named due to frequent sightings of bears near its course.[4] See also
