It has a fractional sloop rig, a transom-hung rudder and a fixed fin keel, wing keel or optionally a centreboard. It displaces {{convert|2826|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|825|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of ballast.[1][2] The boat has a draft of {{convert|3.80|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the standard fin keel and {{convert|2.75|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the optional shoal draft wing keel. A centreboard version was also produced with a draft of {{convert|5.75|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the centreboard extended and {{convert|2.16|ft|m|abbr=on}} with it retracted.[1][4] The boat is normally fitted with a small outboard motor for docking and maneuvering.[1] The boat has a hull speed of {{convert|6.03|kn|km/h|2|abbr=on}}.[2] See also
