BNS Durgam is the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) variant of {{sclass-|Durjoy|patrol craft|0}} semi-stealth large patrol craft (LPC) of the Bangladesh Navy. She is serving in the Bangladesh Navy since 2017. CareerThe ship was launched on 26 December 2016.[2] The President of the Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid commissioned the ship into the Bangladesh Navy on 8 November 2017.[3] DesignBNS Durgam is {{convert|64.2|m|ft|1}} long overall, with a beam of {{convert|9|m|ft|1}} and has a {{convert|5.25|m|ft|1}} draught with a displacement of 648 tonnes. The ship has a bulbous bow that suggests it is very stable in heavy sea states. It has speed and range to support long lasting missions. The LPC is powered by triple Pielstick diesel engines driving three screws for a top speed of {{convert|25|kn|lk=in}}. The range of the ship is {{convert|2000|nmi|lk=in}} and endurance is 15 days. It has a complement of 70 officers and enlisted. The ship was mainly purpose-built as an anti-submarine warfare platform.[4] ElectronicsThe primary sensor of the ship is a SR47AG surface and air search radar. Durgam carries a Chinese TR47C radar which is used as tracking radar. For navigation, the ship uses the Japanese JMA 3336 radar. To help the navigational radar, the Vision Master chart radar is used. The ship has an ESS-2B bow mounted sonar with an effective range of about {{convert|8000|m|yd}} for underwater detection.[4] ArmamentThe LPC uses a Chinese origin single {{convert|76.2|mm|in|abbr=on|0}} NG 16-1 naval gun as the primary weapon. The vessel is also equipped with one CS/AN2 {{convert|30|mm|in|abbr=on|1}} single-barrel naval gun mounted amidships used as the secondary weapon.
