Located just south of Edmonton, Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is one of two "A-level" horse racing venues in the province of Alberta. It is the only one mile racetrack in western Canada. Century Mile offers live Thoroughbred racing from April to August and Standardbred racing September to December. The casino features 550 slot machines, an off track betting location for simulcast wagering for both thoroughbred and Standardbred racing from around North America. Dining facilities include a lounge and the Derby Restaurant. Century Mile Casino first opened on April 1st, 2019 and the first day of live racing is April 28, 2019. [1]See also
