Andrea Scanzi (Arezzo, 6 May 1974) is an Italian journalist, essayist and columnist. He graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Siena in 2000 with a thesis on songwriters.[1] He is a sworn member of the Tenco Club and Artistic Director of the Ivan Graziani Pigro Prize. An advertising journalist, he wrote for Il Heap, the manifesto, Il Riformista, L'Espresso and Panorama, before moving to La Stampa in 2005. In the summer of 2011 he arrived at Il Fatto Quotidiano where he dealt with various topics, mainly politics, music and sport.[1][2][3] At the theater is the author and interpreter of the show Gaber if it was Gaber, dedicated to Giorgio Gaber and sponsored by the Gaber Foundation, which went through the theaters of Italy from 2011 to 2013. In September 2012 he debuted with The Bad Roads dedicated to Fabrizio De André . In 2016 he starts touring with Il sogno di un Italia, his third show, while in 2017 it's the turn of Heroes, dedicated to ten sports figures. In 2018 he brings the transposition of his book Renzusconi to the theater. Since 2012 he has conducted the Reputescion interview program on La3, in which he analyzes the reputation of the guests on the network. Since 2013 he has been a frequent guest on the Eight and a Half program, conducted by Lilli Gruber on La7. Since 2015 he has participated as a regular guest in the program Il processo del lunedì, conducted by Enrico Varriale on Rai 3. Also on LA7 since 12 July 2016 he leads Futbol, a program of in-depth football, together with Alessia Reato. In February 2018 he was chosen as a member of the jury of experts for the 68th Sanremo Festival by artistic director Claudio Baglioni. Starting from May 14, 2016, he led a couple of talks and disagreements with Luca Sommi on channel Nove, in which two characters with antithetical opinions are confronted on different topics.
