Contemporary Japan is published twice a year in print and online in English and includes research in the humanities and social sciences on all aspects of modern and contemporary Japanese society and culture. The journal was previously published by De Gruyter under the name Japanstudien (1990-2010) and included both German and English articles. From 2010 the journal has switched to a fully English format. Beginning in 2017 Contemporary Japan has been published by Taylor & Francis. |
