Zalophus is a genus of the family Otariidae (sea lions and fur seals) of order Carnivora. It includes these species,^[1] of which one became recently extinct:

Z. californianus: California sea lion^[2]
Z. japonicus: Japanese sea lion †^[3]
Z. wollebaeki: Galápagos sea lion^[4]
