Doctor Django

Doctor Django (born Jens Byskov Jensen, on February 3, 1976) is a violinist from Denmark. He graduated from the music academy[1] studying classical violin, but has since then ventured into jazz.[2]

For some years, Django lived in the United States, where he first settled in Chicago and subsequently moved to New Orleans and married a Southern girl, whom he later divorced.[3] While living in New Orleans, he was a victim of hurricane Katrina.[4]

Django has performed as a violinist in the United States, both during and after his residency.[5][6]

Doctor Django and his Nurses

In 2015, Django formed his quartet, Doctor Django and his Nurses, and the group soon released an EP titled Meet Doctor Django,[7] which was followed by Eatin' Crow. [8][9] The group has performed at music festivals,[10][11][12] on national television,[13] and at music venues[14] both nationally and internationally.[15]
