Giovanni (Gio) CarlinoGiovanni Wayne T. Carlino (born April 12, 2005),known professionally as Gio, is an singer, actor, writer, and student. His music has been noted by critics for its amazing quality. His acting has been known to be emotional and amazing , beautiful, and just perfect, and its so amazing one feels like they are watching broadway. Raised in Monroe Wisconsin, Gio moved to Mt. Vernon, Indiana in 2010 to embark on his career as a scholar. Following numerous acting roles including his debut in Beauty and the Beast, Gio's breakthrough came after the viral success of his church play in 2013. He then continued with school. His major role Maurice (2018) proved an international success and sparked the flood of positive remarks from critics, "This was the worst musical I have ever seen," said someone,"Maurice more like SNORErice," said someone else. Since, Gio has performed in the church play of 2013 he has received nominations for the gremmy Award for Best singer, songwriter, actor, person and everything else for everything. Gio has contributed to a variety of plays, most notably "The 2013 Church Play" for being awesome and having 1 line, which garnered him a Gremmy and Golden Globe nomination. Gio starred in the musical Beauty and the beast (2018) and is planning to be in the 2019 Junior High musical. Gio is most notably an amazing person everyone is jealous. Early lifeGiovanni Wayne T. Carlino was born in Monroe, Wisonsin on April 12, 2005, to Natalie Carlino Miller who works for the newspaper. He has 3 sisters, Andreana, Dealia, Natalia and 3 brothers, Dontae, Omaran, Omaree. He has Italian and Irish ancestry from His Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother At age 5, he moved to Mt. Vernon, Indiana, where his brother was living at time. After moving, Gio attended school at West elementary along with his two older sisters. During this time, Gio would get in a lot of trouble and often times find himself in internal suspension. As the years passed he realized in second grade he would like to be a teacher and found out as much as he could about the profession. When Gio made it to the 5th grade he realized he no longer wanted to be a teacher and decided to find another profession to dream about being. The following year, at age 12, He moved on to 6th grade, with a lot of new people and old friends. He has said 6th grade was probably the hardest transition because he was often bullied for his high pitched voice, the way he dressed, and his hair. According to Gio, he had trouble making friends until he left and came back in 7th grade. He is currently in 8th grade and he has decided he would like to be a surgeon. In college, Gio plans to pursue his dreams and become a surgeon. He is hopeful and ready to save lives. |
