Glynn currently serves as Head of Market Risk in Europe, Middle East and Asia for American multinational investment bank, Morgan Stanley.[1] Early lifeBorn in County Meath, Ireland, Glynn was the eldest of four children to John David Glynn, a Civil Engineer, though the family moved to Tunbridge Wells in 1987. Glynn completed his A-Levels at The Skinners' School, and subsequently studied Law at the University of Leicester. CareerGlynn started his banking career in London on a graduate scheme for Abbey National in 1996, and continued working for the company until 2004. Glynn then spent 11 years working for Barclays (previously Barclays Capital), ultimately becoming Global Head of Counterparty Risk. In 2015 he moved to Morgan Stanley, and currently works across New York, Budapest, Hong Kong and a large scope of Asia. Personal LifeGlynn has four children raised in London. His eldest, Eleanor, now studies at the University of Edinburgh and writes a blog on social issues [2], with a considerable online presence of over 12,000 Instagram followers [3].
