Keikistan (kay-KEE-stan) (sometimes known as Kekistan) is a mythical country located near modern-day north-western Persia^[1]. This nation, the first mentions of which comes from Ptolemaic Egypt,^[2] was described as one of fierce and prosperous warriors. Keikistan was later proposed by British geographers and explorers as a possible location for the mythical city of Atlantis^[3]. The flag and myth of this nation was appropriated by the alt-right in the late 2010's^[4] as a symbol of Aryan vitality as it was theorized to be located in the Caucasus -- the supposed ancestral home of the Aryan people.

Geography

Geographically, the country's climate varies from Alpine in the far north, to semi-arid in its west, to continental in the south east where a part of the country occupies the wet and fertile Northern Iranian Caspian Plain.

Pronunciation

Keikistan, alternatively known as Kekistan, exhibits two common pronunciations; (kay-KEE-stan) and (kē-ke-stan)
