Keisha Smith-Jeremie (born in Freeport, Bahamas) is the CEO and founder of Sanaia Apple Sauce. Based in New York, she is best known for her success in creating and distributing her brand after landing an appearance on the television show Shark Tank.

Kiesha Smith-Jeremie started her career by serving management roles at an investment banking company, Morgan Stanley. She served as Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Talent Management, and was responsible for various contributions to the firm's Talent Management Strategy. Following her work at Morgan Stanley, Smith-Jeremie became Chief Human Resources for News Corp in January 2013. Her role gave her the responsibility for Corporate Security, Philanthropy, and Global Environmental Impact.

Smith-Jeremie came up with the idea to create Sanaia Apple Sauce when she realized that a $900 million market was primarily directed towards children. She was aware that the global applesauce market was annually increasing and wanted to develop a product that would satisfy adults.

In creating Sanaia Apple Sauce, Smith-Jeremie was inspired by her favorite childhood fruits such as guava, tamarind, and hibiscus. She believes fruits are nature's most delectable fruits and developed this brand to appeal to other adults who are ignored in the applesauce market.

After investing $250,000 of her own money to bring her brand to life, Smith-Jeremie landed a spot on season 10 of Shark Tank, where she was able to pitch Sanaia Apple Sauce in hopes of gaining a co-founder. Mark Cuban, an American businessman and investor, saw the potential of the brand and offered a deal of $150,000 for 25% of profit which she accepted.

Sanaia Apple Sauce was released in 2017 and is produced in Harlem, New York at Hot Bread Kitchen.
