It does seem like it's notable given that it's mentioned in two academic sources, but this just needs to be almost completely re-written. I recommend looking over existing film articles to get an idea of how the article should be written.

This could also use more sourcing to help back up claims and better establish notability. Also, be extremely, extremely careful when quoting things like this. Bio quotes are often cherrypicked and fine tuned so that they look as positive as possible. Sometimes these quotes are exactly as they appear, other times they're taken somewhat or entirely out of context and give off an impression that isn't accurate to the source material. Bio quotes also leave out things that would be vital to know, such as whether or not the speaker or organization making the quote is affiliated with the person in the bio - essentially, if they're affiliated with the person then they're more likely to say nice things because it reflects well on them. Always try to find the original source for bio quotes. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 01:52, 23 January 2019 (UTC)}}

My Body's My Business is a 16-minute documentary film[1] produced and directed by Vivian Kleiman.

The film examines the impact of the AIDS Crisis on street prostitutes. It features several prostitutes and ex-prostitutes who tell their stories about keeping safe on the streets with their "dates" and at home with their boyfriends. In the video, women discuss the various reasons men give for not using a condom and the approaches the women use to convince them to use rubbers. When all else fails, My Body's My Business reveals a hooker's secret: how to put a condom on a guy without his knowledge -- a controversial practice not agreed on by all. It's a story of women becoming empowered to gain a voice in all aspects of their lives.[2]

The Making of the Film

"Vivian's contribution to the topic of AIDS evolved when she read about men offering extra money to sex workers for unsafe sex. 'I got that shiver,' she shares-and decided she had to work with that population of sex workers. My Body's My Choice (1992), which works to keep women on the streets safe, is the result of outreach and rap sessions with a number of people. Not wanting to exploit or sensationalize the topic, Vivian's video offers straightforward dialogue dealing with issues like how to slip condoms onto customers and how to deal with the empowerment that comes from hearing fellow sex workers declare, 'No amount of money is worth my life.' It has been extremely successful- not only on the festival circuit, but even more important, as a story of women empowered to gain a voice."- Women and AIDS: Negotiation Safer Practices, Care, and Representation.[3]

Reception

My Body's My Business was noted as "the most respectful of women of any AIDS video" by the Nat’l Women’s Health Network.[4] The film was so well received that it was translated into several languages and has made a global impact.
